What is My Mad Cow?
My Mad Cow is a service to share images, tones and games for mobile phones.
Are there any costs for downloading?
No. If you use your mobile phone for downloads, you only pay the usual GPRS data transfer charge to your operator.
How much does the operator charge for one download?
It depends on your call plan and how greedy your operator is. Contact your operator for details. If you are lucky (like me), you can download as much as you like for 1€/week.

Who owns the copyrights to images, tones and games?
Each user retains copyrights to the content they have uploaded. Every user has granted a permission to download and use them for personal use via My Mad Cow.
Can I upload and make public an image copied from Internet? What about pictures of celebrities? Or cartoon characters?
Absolutely not! Only if you have created the piece of art by yourself or have a permission from the owner.
Can I upload my idol's songs and make them public?
Again, no.
Downloading
How on earth do I get the images and tones to my phone?
Go to wap.mymadcow.com using your phone's WAP-browser and type in the Quicklink number of the item (you can see the number on the item's page). Then, press 'Go' and your phone will start downloading. You need WAP settings in your phone to do this.
What are WAP settings and how to get them?
WAP settings enable your phone to connect to the Internet. Try the WAP browser in your phone. Does it connect to the net? If not, then you must ask your operator for the WAP settings. We can't give them to you - they are operator specific.
Which phones are supported?
Mostly phones with a color screen, see our list.
Why is my phone not listed?
Either it is too old to receive any of the content, or we have missed it. If you really think that your phone is capable of playing the content, please let us know!
Why the image/tone doesn't work in my phone?
Your phone may not support that particular item.
Why the game I downloaded doesn't work?
Even if your phone is listed in the supported phones list, the game may not work in your phone. Contact the game uploader for details.
Uploading
I uploaded an image/tone/game, why it isn't public?
By default, all images/tones/games are private. You have to go to the item and make it public.
I made an item public, but it still doesn't show up?
If you have just registered, then you have to make up to 5 items public. Once we have evaluated and approved them, they will show up to everyone. This is to ensure that you don't publish bad stuff. Once the images/tones have been approved, you'll be free to publish without an approval period. Note that you may loose the right to publish images/tones, if you start publishing bad stuff.
